Numbat is an independent fashion brand created by House of Numbat, a family-led British design business based in Norfolk, England. The family’s background is in textile engineering and clothing production in Bulgaria, where they set up a sportswear manufacturing business in 2003.

Numbat’s clothing takes its cues from British style, classic clothing, traditional fabrics, tailoring and countryside dress, with close attention to fabric, proportion and construction. Its next collection, very limited, is planned to be designed and made at House of Numbat in Norfolk in small quantities. Where a garment is made in Norfolk, its product description says so.

The brand is named after the numbat, an endangered Australian marsupial.
