Rug’Society is a Portuguese brand of rugs and covering solutions that sets out to make rugs as pieces of art, with a bold and contemporary design. Its designers draw on everyday life and experience, mixing visions, styles and characters, and the brand works with artisans who carry their craft from family and years of experience.

Production centres on hand-tufting, a technique that allows freedom of shape, size, composition and style. The techniques used are cut, loop, overtufting, carving and 3D, and they can be combined to create textures and optical effects, as in the scales of the Imperial Snake rug. Collections include Urban, Shaggy, Lounge, Neutral, Classic and Botanical.

A design service lets clients change the colours, shapes, textures and patterns of existing designs, and a bespoke service develops new rug designs for a project.
