The French queen of cool Solène Lescouët spotted at the opening of the first The Marc Jacobs store in Paris.
Despite the fact that almost every single item of clothing that we own is mass-produced, getting dressed and styling what we are wearing is a very personal thing.
Well, Marc Jacobs has seen this exact gap in the market and back in June 2019, the company launched The Marc Jacobs. The new line celebrates the eclectic and individual approach to getting dressed.
“We wanted to do something that is unlike the collections we are already doing, in that it is more ‘item-y’.”
With the great success that The Marc Jacobs has had to far, the launch of a brand new dedicated boutique was the next natural step. Located at 30 rue des Archives, in Paris’ Le Marais neighbourhood, the new store will offer the full range of items across all product categories.
A plethora of celebs, fashionistas and the who’s who of Paris descended onto the new store for its grand opening. Spotted in an oversized yellow faux fur coat was fellow designer, the French queen of cool Solène Lescouët.
Drawing from the periods, music, art and pop culture that have always inspired, classic silhouettes, true to the spirit of Marc Jacobs, will be reinterpreted with each season creating an on-going and on-growing wardrobe of items. Key collaborations, including the classic Peanuts cartoons, as well as with British artist Magda Archer, are highlights.
